Aging Summit 2018: Age Well in Action San Diego

Hosted by the County of San Diego’s Aging & Independence Service, Aging Summit 2018 will focus on the community Age Well San Diego initiative. The conference is free to attend.

Topics will include: dementia, health and community support, housing, social participation and transportation.

Both event locations will have speakers on site, local resources and lunch.

The keynote program features Joan Lunden, an award-winning journalist and bestselling author. For nearly two decades, Lunden greeted viewers each morning on “Good Morning America,” bringing awareness to the day’s top stories. The keynote program also includes Pam Smith, a San Diego advocate for seniors and an Age Well Champion.

Please note: The keynote program will be at the Town & Country Convention Center venue and these presentations will be webcast live to the California Center for the Arts in Escondido. For more information, visit aisevents.org.

The keynote program will be webcast to this location and shown on a large screen inside the community center. In addition, there will be in-person speakers and information tables. The in-person speakers’ topics include health and community support, housing, social participation, transportation and what it means to be a Dementia Friendly Community. Lunch is included.
