Claire’s Hope Grief Group

Claire’s Hope is a grief group offered by Hospice of the North Coast, specific to child loss.

The group is named in loving memory for the daughter of our co-facilitator, Liz Devins.
Claire Devins passed away after a 4 ½ year battle with brain cancer. She was six years old.
Though her life was short, she approached each day with hope and a sense of humor beyond her years. She taught her family that there is always something to believe in, there is always hope.

We will meet the first Tuesday of each month in a private group where we can share the uniqueness of our circumstances. Each session will incorporate a different bereavement technique and will build on the previous session.

Session 1      Introduction to the grief process for the loss of a precious child. Please bring a photograph of your child.
