Pet Therapy Program
Brightening Lives, One Wag at a Time
At Hospice of the North Coast, we believe that healing takes many forms—and sometimes, the most powerful comfort comes with four legs and a wagging tail. Our Pet Therapy Volunteers bring joy, companionship, and unconditional love to patients through meaningful visits that lift spirits and provide emotional support during a vulnerable time.

Share the Love of Your Certified Therapy Dog
Do you have a certified therapy dog and a heart for helping others? You and your canine companion could make a real difference in the lives of patients and families in North County San Diego. Pet therapy visits take place in care facilities and are designed to brighten someone’s day through the simple yet powerful presence of a friendly animal.
If you're ready to bring smiles, warmth, and a gentle paw to those who need it most, we’d love to hear from you.
