Oceanside Civitan Supports Hospice of the North Coast

The worldwide mission of Civitan International is to build good citizenship by providing a volunteer organization of clubs dedicated to serving individual and community needs, with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.  Our local club, Oceanside Civitan, is doing just that!  Throughout the year Oceanside Civitan conducts fundraisers to support local charities, including Hospice of the North Coast, which has been a recipient of their generosity for several years.  Some of their activities include Bunco, chili cookoffs and painting parties.

At its annual allocation meeting September 10, Oceanside Civitan presented funds to six nonprofit organizations, including Hospice of the North Coast.  HNC will use funds to purchase an iPad for utilization by its admission nurses.
