January 31, 2019Pacifica House Celebrates 5 Year Milestone
On January 27, friends and family gathered to celebrate five years of care at Hospice of the North Coast’s Pacifica House inpatient home. For many, this was their first time back to Pacifica House since the passing of their loved one. Over a light breakfast and champagne, guests shared their personal stories and how their lives have been changed. Reverend Ben Drapeau, CJM, from St. Patrick Catholic Community gave an invocation, and Bereavement Coordinator Jim Reiser led the group in a remembrance. The event closed with the unveiling of our new tribute wall, which honors former Pacifica House patients. Families were given an opportunity to reserve a tile in their loved one’s name.
